My body was fine today despite yesterday's 250 push-ups so I tried a new faster but also a bit more challenging combination of the two challenges:
25 Push-Ups
100 Hindu Squats
25 Push-Ups
with no rest, and it went well :)

Today I did a test for the days when I have very little time to do a minimum of exercise using a Hall Pass and replacing it with 40 step jacks as a warm up I can also do the two challenges in just over 5 minutes in total :)

40 Step Jacks
25 Push-Ups
100 Hindu Squats
25 Push-ups
5 min, 19 sec

This morning I went out to the gym and found water on the stairs, I look up and see a wet spot on the ceiling: there is a leak from the roof.
Obviously on a Friday, during the Christmas period and 3 days before leaving to go to my parents :eyes:
For now we have done what we could do, that is to put a tarp and a bucket, we are looking for someone who can do the repairs with limited success.

We managed to make an appointment with the bricklayer for Monday but we don't know when the actual work will be done because it also depends on the weather, it's still raining.
So we will postpone the departure to go to my parents.
Luckily my partner and I team up in times of crisis :)
In the end I refused to give in to a bad mood and trained anyway :LOL:

Today I dusted off the kettlebells (literally), I won't go to the gym this week even if I'm at home so as not to add further stress beyond roof repairs, I will do the bare minimum so that I have as much time as possible for the unexpected.
I also thought that if I like calisthenics I could go back to doing some kettlebell exercises at home instead of weight training at the gym :)

Today the bricklayer came to inspect the site and if we're lucky tomorrow he'll send someone to do the work or at least go to the roof to see what work needs to be done.
My partner decided to make a Christmas tree so as not to give in to bad moods and it's working :)
It is almost certain that we won't be able to go to my parents for Christmas but if we are lucky we can go there later, we will see and try our best to have a nice Christmas "anything can happen" :LOL:
I'm scared to watch the Snowfight :p :snowball:

No news to fix the leak in the roof and tomorrow it will start raining again.
I alternate anger with annoyance and discouragement in different percentages. The worst thing is always having to wait without ever knowing when what will happen.
We have organized ourselves to face the worst so we are able to manage everything until we can fix the problem.
Anyway my partner and I have already arranged to spend Christmas just me and her, with a nice menu and a Harry Potter movie marathon as our tradition :)
It reassures me to ruminate on the training that I could come up with from January onwards :LOL:

The leak on the roof won't be fixed until after New Years, so we won't be able to go either before or after Christmas to my parents who didn't take the news well, but there's no alternative to staying and emptying basins of water when it rains.
Knowing what I have to face reassures me more than staying in uncertainty, so starting tomorrow I'll try to take all the good I have available and treasure it.
We're having a nice pizza tonight :pizza::LOL:

The first time I saw it I looked at the Cardio Bell Workout in puzzlement but today I tried it and it works very well, it is fast without being excessive and doses well kettlebells and cardio exercises and in the end you take home 105 kettlebell swings :)
I'll be trying out more kettlebell workouts in the next few days, I've always enjoyed kettlebell training and can't wait to get the hang of it again :LOL:
