I thought after my vacation I'd do things different at work, but .. some things I don't have control over and exactly those things make my day overload. I'm already way behind on paperwork.
At home (late) I didn't want to cook and I didn't want to go to bed, just wanted to hang on the couch and watch series. So I made pizza and did that. Tomorrow I'll regret.

Tuesday June 6th
Busy day. Working a bit late, made a short hike after work, at home I had to clean up Pico's bird-mess (blood and feathers all over) and then went to the cinema. Was home around 11.30 pm and was reallytired, so skipped my usual workouts and did 1 minute workout instead. I saw Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, it was much better than I thought it would be. I have a membership/subscription, so I can go to any movie, and I chose this film because it was at a convenient time. The trailer didn't catch me. I love it when movies are surprising.
▪️ Hike 2.48 km. Had an encounter with a roe-deer. I saw it when I was only 10m away, and it didn't notice me until I was already trying to take pictures. The look on its face was priceless, just utter surprise, baffled, tilting its head from left to right because it didn't understand what I was (it couldn't see my face because of my phone that I held in front of my face taking pictures).

Wednesday June 7th
Yesterday at work I fell backwards in the middle of the restaurant... It was really embarrassing, because I rolled back with my feet in the air, it was a real life slapstick.. Luckily no pains or aches today.
I went shopping in the city, my nieces wedding is in 2 weeks and I didn't have my outfit complete yet. After I bought the last thing, I heard someone calling my name: it was my niece, the bride, who was shopping with her mother in law for the last things needed for the wedding. So I joined them to help.
It was a long day, I made >10.000 steps in 5 hours. So I skipped my hike.

Friday June 9th
Today I felt a bit of a crampy, sentitive feeling in my calf/calves (mostly only left, but also a bit right). I skipped my hike, luckily I hit the 5000 steps anyway, and skipped CombatHIITbecause it was 5 rounds of 2x 20 sec high knees. And now I finally realise what it is: the calf raises from Power Up. And I know it was a good choice to get rest.
My mom almost got scammed today. A classic scam story and she falls for it. Luckily she realised it was odd, before real harm was done (though way too late..)

It's amazing how much 8-10 hours extra rest can do. Today my calves felt good again and I dared to do my run as planned.
Went to the movies with 2 friends, the new Little Mermaid. My friends were very enthusiastic. I'm a bit less. I think they lost the magic of the original.

Sunday June 11th
Today we had an anual festival/celebration in the village. The sheep are then traditionally shaved (or actually cut with traditional wool scissors) in the village center, there's music and a market. I love it 😊 so I walked around a lot. And had ice cream. It was really warm, around 30°C, I think the sheep will be happy to have lost their woollen coat. Pictures will follow

Tuesday June 13th
Wtent to the movies, it got pretty late, was home at 11.30 pm. There was a mouse walking underneath the chairs. I'm generally not afraid of mice, but when they're waking around and I'll be in the dark sitting still with snacks... The film was a good one: to catch a killer.
After I got home I decided to only do Combat HIIT.

Wednesday June 14th
My friend cancelled, so I had the day to myself. Started with a long hike, then got some delicious ice cream in the village. I crashed after I got home, slept on the couch for a few hours. I forgot I had other things to do... but well, I guess I needed the rest

Sunday June 18th
I was exhausted today. Just couldn't wake up properly, felt weak and drained. So I lied on the couch all morning. Around 2pm I came to life and went for a hike. But after that more lying until around 9pm.. I really felt good and energetic, and started to water the plants and.. well .. I have to go to bed because of work tomorrow. Annoying.
▪️  Hike 5.41 km. It was a nice hike. I didn't bring my camera, because I was tired and I haven't found anything interesting to photograph lately. But, as Murphy's law: I saw a very beautiful view on a Highland cow with a calf, and later woodpeckers right in sight which would've made beautiful shots. I tried with my phone but that's just not it.

But, sticking with 'reasonable' exercise, it is not reasonable to force myself to another 2000 steps. My 30 days of 10.000 steps badge will come one day. I am growing. Evolving. Learning.

Very. Busy. Day. I should stop planning my free days so full.. Today was my niece's wedding. I was 'Master of ceremonies' and it was more stressful and busy than I had anticipated. But, the wedding was beautiful, they both were gorgeous and, most important, they both said yes. No real workout today, so lost my streak, but I did make almost 10000 steps.

Saturday June 24th
Today I am exhausted. Only slept 4 hours. I did my run, some grocery shopping but the rest of the day was watching series and taking multiple naps (eg just falling asleep all the time).
▪️  Run ZR 5k training. W4T3. 5 min walk + 5 min run + 5x (10 high knees + 1 min slow walk + 1 min fast walk) + 5x (30 sec run + 60 sec walk) + 15 min run. There was a glitch in the workout, just after telling me to start my 5th 30 sec run, she told me I had to start my 15 min run. I ignored her and did what I should've done. And: I'm halfway the program! Without injuries so far.

Wednesday June 28th
I had a piano lesson today, loved it

I had a lovely evening with a few friends, it became really late so didn't do any workout.

Saturday July 1st
Pico was acting a bit dim (?) but I couldn't figure out what was wrong, she ate, drank. But then I noticed she was licking her toe, and I wasn't allowed to touch it to look at it. Luckiiy the vet was still open and it turns out she had an infection in her foot and also had a slight fever. She got antibiotics and directly felt better from the painkiller.
