I did good today: did my run, workout, yoga, and cooked dinner.
I also did some laundry. It seems like never ending.
My calf also felt good, only a bit tense when I went too fast, but it subsided when I slowed down.

Sorry for Zombies run!
Regarding changes, not a fan of the X-th Duolingo revamp... At least for Japanese, they deleted the grammar explanations. Sorry, but has not the "you learn by observing like when you were a kid" theory been disprovied? Vocabulary indeed can be learned by immersion, but grammar isn't always logical, and having it presented clearly saves trials-and-errors that takes, in the end, more time (and you wonder if you got it right). That annoys me!

Calf felt good, but decided to not push it with a run, because I'm going to hike on Saturday. Made it to 5000 steps though.

August summary
August was better workout wise. I picked up my routine and at least the last 3 weeks I was pretty consistent. Hiking and running were less consistent on the other hand. I did make more short hikes after work, but almost no longer hikes. I think it's because I'm working more. Also my running was less far and less frequent (often 2 times a week instead of 3). For now that's okay, I have a run event on Sept 10th. After that I can increase my frequency and distance. I also want to buy some road running shoes (now I have trailrunning ones), so I can run in evenings during winter... it is already getting dark early 😔

🙄 today I used the ZR app for the fist time since the new update, but my mission doesn't work. It starts tracking my run, but the mission is not playing. I hate it when they try to 'upgrade' something that works good, it almost never is for the better.
I emailed support, I hope they fix it soon, because I recently payed the new subscription period. If it was like this a month ago I don't know if I would continue my subscription.

Summary of the last 2 weeks
I did the challenges until day 25. My boyfriend got me on my bike again, we went for a 11km round.

Last Sunday I had my first running event since my achilles injury! It was a non competitive run, there was no time tracking by the event. It was 30°C, but it went really well!

Avg daily steps: 6997

Same issue here. I wrote a message to the support and they said the are aware of it and working on it. Still, I can't understand how it is possible to roll out an app without one of their main feature being stable... :break:

Thursday September 21st
Last week I bought new eunning shoes. Today I ran with them for the second time and they are so very comfortable! I will use them in winter when I'm forced to run on the road because it's dark early. So now I'm also practicing some road running (I normally run only trails in the forest).

▪️  Abs 2 min abs, with 2x1 kg ankle weights and additional 5.5 kg dumbbell on the sitting twists

I had a busy day, started with running, thrn to my sister in law, followed by a birthday party and planned to do my workout afterwards. But the evening plans changed when my boyfriend turned out to have a metal splinter in his eye and we had to yo to the doctor's.
▪️  Running 5.88 km trail, with a lot of elevation, a total of 147 m (it's a lot in the Netherlands). Another 3 failing zombie chases..

@Mamatigerj yeah, job hazard.. I hope it will not happen often. My boyfriend always uses the full face protection mask, but he took it off before cleaning his desk ..

Tuesday September 26th
Work was crazy and stressful, it cost me a long time to wind down. After dinner I met with a friend, and after that made a short walk across the village with my boyfriend. No time to workout, but decided to do something short anyway, so did the 1 minute workout. I think I will restart my workout streak, to encourage me to find these kinds of solutions.

I am worried a bit that my work stress is too much.. had a talk with my manager about it. I want to be able to breathe again at work..
