2022 Summary
Days worked out: 362/365
Total time: 549 hours
Steps: 3,738,581
Vert: 26,820m

Running: 121 runs | 655km

Cycling: 145 rides | 2970km

Walking: 374 walks | 828km

Workouts: 348 workouts | 76 hours 35 min

Yoga: 351 sessions | 97 hours 50 minutes

Notes: 2022 was a bit of a rough year for me. The first six months were a combination of high stress, sleep deprivation and grief, and the next six months were spent trying to repair the damage that caused. Still, it wasn't all bad - I rediscovered my love of running, developed my business much faster than I thought I'd be able to, and experienced a huge amount of personal growth.

2023 Plans
I don't really have many solid plans for this year. I want to run an ultra later in the year (not sure which distance yet - I'm looking at either 50km or 100km but I'm waiting to see how my training progresses over summer/autumn), plus there are a few shorter trail races I want to do. I've got a handful of 30 day challenges planned, both fitness and more personal development style ones. Initially I'd planned 24 challenges for the year, one of each per month, but there were too many I wanted to start straight away. For January, I've chosen:

Health/Fitness
- Breathwork
- Meditation
- Handstand practice

Other
- No social media
- German practice (reading or listening to a podcast)

Happy New Year everyone, I hope you all have an excellent 2023! :fireworks:

Saturday, January 7
Morning
First Thing Water
12km run (zone 2-ish. Wasn't feeling it today. I haven't been feeling the best this week, and I was going to cut today's long run short but I got lost (there's been some logging in the area and now some tracks are marked incorrectly). I wasn't properly lost, but it took me a few kilometres to figure out exactly where I was. On the plus side, I really enjoyed it - it was nice to run without a real plan and see where I ended up).
Negative Pull-Up Challenge - Day 24
The Guardian Challenge - Day 6 +200 goblins
Splits Challenge - Day 6
Ab Challenge - Day 6
YWA - Center Day 5

Afternoon
Garmin Breathwork - Relax & Focus (short)
Physio exercises (legs)

Evening
Yoga With Kassandra - Evening Yoga Movement Day 15
Medito 30 Day Mindfulness Challenge - Day 7

Consecutive Days of Exercise: 256

Notes: I feel like I levelled up with my handstands today - I was just playing around with hand placement and where I was looking, and managed to do a (not very pretty) freestanding handstand for a few seconds. Then I had to try it again a few times throughout the day to make sure it wasn't a fluke.

Notes: Very slow week - I came down with something on Monday night so I ended up having a rest/recovery week. I'm mostly back to normal now, except some lingering fatigue, so I'm hoping to get back into things a bit more next week. I just spotted the new programs, too, so I might have to abandon my current ones to try those, since I've had a week off anyway.
